Couple charged with South Williamson robbery appears in court
PIKEVILLE, Ky. -- Two people accused of robbery in South Williamson appeared in Pike Circuit Court, Friday. 51-year-old Ida Castle, of Williamson, West Virginia, and 42-year-old Anthony Collins of Belfry, appeared in court for a pre-trial hearing. Instead, another pre-trial hearing was scheduled. The two are accused of taking part in a shoplifting incident at the Pebbles clothing store at the Southside Mall. A security guard at the mall was injured during the incident. The robbery happened in February. Anthony Collins has remained lodged in the Pike County Detention Center. However, Ida Castle posted bond. While in court, Friday, Castle was placed in handcuffs for contempt of court. Anthony Collins and Ida Castle are scheduled to appear in court again on October 11th.
