Harvest season comes early thanks to Sheriff's Department

Inez, Ky.--Acting on a tip the Martin County Sheriff’s Department have confiscated multiple marijuana plants from different locations in Inez. The plants were found at a Little Laurel Creek Road residence where 35-year old David Fitch was arrested and charged with cultivating marijuana and also at a residence on Albert Porter Branch where 37-year old Scott Johnson was charged with cultivating marijuana. Officers said one of the plants was at least 12 foot tall and could be seen stretching above the roof of one of the residences. That plant was estimated to have a street value of $1,500.
