Search for a suspect leads to a drug bust

 Prestonsburg, Ky.--Acting on a tip of the whereabouts of a wanted suspect the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department made a drug bust confiscated various drugs and stolen items.

“At this point in time it looks to be a little bit over 2 grams of meth maybe a little less and we found a little over 15 hundred dollars in cash. We also recovered a stolen vehicle and a trailer that had the VIN number removed. One of the trucks actually had a couple of hidden compartments. In the tail light it had a make shift PVC pipe used to hide drugs at and we found 2 containers in the vehicle that had false bottoms where the drugs were being hid. Several AR 15’s and a couple hunting rifles one weapon was found to be stolen one of the AR 15’s.”

61-year old Milton King of West Liberty was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, violation of EPO and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. Milton remains lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center on a five-thousand dollar cash bond.
