PIKEVILLE, Ky. -- EKB News has received a communication from a person claiming to be fugitive former disability attorney Eric C. Conn. 

UPDATE: Jennifer Blankenship and Okey Hinkle were arrested for active bench warrants and police tell EKB News that they plan to charge them in this case soon. They have not yet been charged in connection with the discovery of the body. 

BANNER, Ky. -- Area police received a call today that was a little out of the ordinary.

Local police departments received numerous calls this afternoon, reporting a mostly naked man walking along US 23 in Floyd County, wearing a few leaves and nothing else.

PRESTONSBURG, Ky. -- On the run after pleading guilty to theft and bribery, and having already lost two lawsuits, fugitive former disability attorney Eric C. Conn is facing even more trouble if and when he is caught.

STANVILLE, Ky. -- A large number of FBI agents and Kentucky State Police troopers are currently at the scene of the Eric C. Conn Law Complex, where officials tell us an "active law enforcement investigation" is underway.

PIKEVILLE, Ky. -- Pavement rehabilitation starts Thursday night at 7 o’clock on the US 23 ramps on the south end of the Cut-Thru, on Baird Avenue, and on South Bypass Road as far as the Pike County Health Department, just beyond Harold’s Branch.

PIKEVILLE, Ky. -- EKB News has received a second communication from a person claiming to be Eric C. Conn. The message does not respond to EKB's previous request for verifying information, and so at this time cannot be considered either genuine or fake.

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- A federal jury today found former Pikeville psychologist Alfred Bradley Adkinsguilty of all charges.

Those investigating the disappearance of embattled former disability attorney Eric C. Conn finally broke their silence today. EKB News Reporter Chris Anderson went to FBI Headquarters in Louisville to learn more about the case. He files this report.

PIKEVILLE, Ky. -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation has confirmed to EKB News that Eric C. Conn is considered to be on the run as a fugitive from justice.
